I like Brad Choate’s idea of using Movable Type to write the static parts of one’s website. I have been extremely lazy about developing the rest of my website and even my school web page is a few years old. Also, I don’t have FrontPage or Dreamweaver. (Aside: Should I buy such software? If so, which one?) Now, with Brad’s ideas, I have used MT to put some basic stuff on my website.

I use MT to manage the links pages on my static website and a couple other pages. It also makes it easy to update the pages with new links as I find them.
dreamweaver all the way. front page generates loads and loads of worthless, messy code. and that’s one sweet camera you’ve got here…
A-M: Yeah MT makes things easy for simple pages. I actually use the Textile plugin which means formatting is even easier in MT.
yaser: Thanks and the camera is great, even though I am no good at photography.
dreamweaver.
if you want to try it, just download it from kazaa with the serial number included….
razib: Well, why use kazaa when Macromedia lets you try Dreamweaver free for a month?
