Our first apartment in the US exists no more.
I moved here when Amber |
|
This is where I live now.
Another view of the building I live in.
I used to work in MaRC at one time.
We even have fake trolleys. With a GPS system.
Not only do we have construction going on everywhere, we change building names as well. This used to be SAC but is now CRC.
This is the health center, the new one, built during my stay here.
The Hill. Tech Tower. It hosts the Registrar as well as the university administration.
Some time in the late 1960s, the tradition of stealing the T from the Tech Tower started.
That tradition is now strongly discouraged.
The Carnegie building was Tech’s first library. Andrew Carnegie donated the money for it. Nowadays, it is occupied by administration and finance.
This building is known as the flag building. It is supposed to have flags representing all the students at Tech, but my roommate Alexander and I were unable to find his German flag. We also saw the Soviet flag instead of the Russian one.
The Shaft. Enuff said. | |
This is the ECE Building.< /td>
ECE Building is indeed one of the ugliest buildings on campus.
I have spent much time in the CoC building.
The Biotech building. | |
UA Whitaker Building occupied by the Biomedical Engineering department.
Food! I am hungry. Let’s stop for lunch.
Not only are we in the football (American, not real) business, we are now in hoteling too.
We also have a brand new Barnes and Noble.
New Management building in the spanking new part of campus across the highway known as Tech Square. What’s the management building doing in Tech square?
This is GCATT where I work. |
good to see the place where you and some of my friends have spent years not sleeping.
Nice photos, Zack. Loved the “I moved here when Amber (ran away) moved to Jersey” caption. hahaha
Thanks, guys.
