Red is the last movie of director Krzysztof Kieslowski’s Three Colors trilogy.
This one is about a guy who listens in on his neighbors’ conversations and a multitude of characters who are connected one way or other.
Overall, this is a reasonable movie, though probably a bit less interesting than the first two. I rate it 7/10 6/10.
I have to say that I love your movie reviews. Something about these short, direct opinions followed by a scaled rating. Raymond Carver would be happy with them.
Also, I didn’t like Red at all.
sepoy: Thanks.
Your comment reminded me that I had rated all three movies the same even though I liked Red less. So I have fixed that.
And what does it say about me that I had to google Raymond Carver?
It says that you should go to your nearest bookstore and pick up “Where I’m Calling From”, now.
sepoy: I didn’t do that but I have done the next best thing: added it to my reading list.
