We saw Thank You for Smoking in the theater. It has been a long time since we have been to the theater, so that probably added to our enjoyment.
The movie is based on a book of the same name by Christopher Buckley.
It is about a PR guy for the tobacco companies and his confident lies and gimmicks.
Overall, it is an enjoyable satirical comedy. I would rate it 8/10.
Svend really liked it. I thought they could have done more with it, and more subtly.
oh and yeah – we saw it before the baby was born — no theatre going since that date. 🙂 MI3 and Pirates come and go … 🙁
Shabana: The fun of the movie was in its directness; it would have been a different movie if it was subtle.
You’ll get used to it. 🙂 Unfortunately there is no Reel Moms here, otherwise I would have gone more often.
